What JobCommand is

JobCommand is a personal job application tracker that connects to your Google account to help you manage and organize job applications found in your Gmail inbox.

Data we access

When you sign in with Google, JobCommand requests access to:

Gmail (read-only) — to scan your inbox for job-related emails and extract application details
Google Drive (read-only) — to let you attach resume files to job applications
Google Calendar — to schedule and track interview events
Basic profile — your name and email address, used to identify your account

How we use your data

All data accessed is used solely to provide the job tracking features within JobCommand. Specifically:

Email content is scanned to extract job application details (company, title, status). Email bodies are not stored — only extracted metadata is saved.
Drive file names and IDs are stored as resume references. File contents are not copied or stored.
Calendar events are created or read only when you explicitly request interview scheduling.

Data storage

Your job application data (company names, titles, statuses, notes) is stored in a private database accessible only to you. OAuth tokens are stored encrypted and used only to make API calls on your behalf.

Data sharing

We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to any third party. Your data is never used for advertising or analytics.

Data deletion

You can revoke JobCommand's access to your Google account at any time via Google Account Permissions. To request deletion of your stored data, contact jeff@burntai.com.
